MEET THE DIRECTOR

National Security Training Academy is a Virginia Department of Criminal Justice certified training school. We specialize in teaching all categories of Electronic Security subjects through the use of our approved curriculum and DCJS certified instructors. We also teach courses for the National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association in security, fire, life-safety, access control and central station.

We design our entry level seminars for individuals with little or no electronic security experience. This “from the basics” approach shortens the learning curve and accelerates competency and mastery of electronic skills. The NBFAA course manuals are developed by the National Training School and our qualified instructors teach the courses to the level and standards of NTS. All manuals are full of practical security information that can be a source of reference material for the student long after they leave the classroom.

All of our in-service training is designed to explore more advanced practices and expand understanding of the newest technologies. This approach is designed to help electronic persons stay abreast of the complex and expanding electronic security industry.

Our instructors have extensive field experience in all electronic security subjects. We are dedicated to professional instruction that not only meets the Virginia and NTS training requirements, but also stresses professionalism among electronic security personnel and fosters an understanding of how the everyday activities of employees can help a business grow.
